Las Vegas Route 91 TQ Assessment
In this video, which is trimmed to highlight the medical part, you will see some solid work by Immediate Responders.
The patient arrives walking with a CAT on his right arm. They immediately assess it and start to tighten it more. The patient then complains of gut pain and they assess he has a GSW tot he chest. In this case it is possible the same round when through his arm into his chest. The application of a TQ is painful and may distract from other injuries, you must continue to assess the patient.
Carry a flashlight, always. Your phone may work but it sucks. In the dark you may need to do a blood sweep and feel for holes or injures. These guys did well and are just a small example of what people did for others that night
