My Story
I have spent my life honing the craft of emergency preparedness and response. I have been a Lifeguard, EMT, Firefighter, Paramedic, Tactical Medic, Federal Emergency Planning Analyst, and Emergency Manager.
Along the way I have published articles in magazines and textbooks. I presented around the United States and Canada on various mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery topics. In addition I have a passion for teaching it all ever since the first thing I was forced to teach - Respiratory Protection for the Federal Responders during the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City.
As I get older and look at where the world, country, society, and your community is heading it has become more clear that the knowledge, skills, abilities, and attitude I have acquired over the past 30 should be passed on to others.
